I’ve pretty much had my butt glued to the couch for the past five days, and it is getting really old. I have not been able to rid my body of this sickness even with the 10-11 hours of sleep every night and a whole lot of doing nothing else.

Saturday night Craig and I watched a movie and had popcorn for dinner. My appetite has been non-existent for the past week, but this homemade popcorn sure hit the spot. Nothing compares to homemade popcorn.

I also had some ginger ale to calm my stomach.

Craig picked out Snow White and the Huntsman from the RedBox. We both enjoyed it. I would give it a 6/10.

Sunday night we headed over to our friends’ Glen and Carol place for dinner and some zombie action.

Last week Glen and Carol made dinner, so it was our turn this time. We made Cheesy Zucchini Pizza—a favorite of ours!!

I also brought lettuce and toppings for a salad.

I caught Craig red-handed eating the avocado slices. He loves avocados and used to take one in the morning to high school and eat it plain.

Dinner was very delicious—although the pizza didn’t sit all that well in my stomach.

I am not a huge zombie fan, but Craig, on the other hand, loves anything zombie-related. After dinner, we watched the newest episode of The Walking Dead with Glen and Carol.

I’ve only seen two episodes now, and this is probably how I look 90% of the time. This show’s intense! Any other Walking Dead fans out there?

Today I had the day off, so I went and pampered myself with a manicure. I went to Vina Nails in Anchorage and had a positive experience. I couldn’t beat the $12 price for a nice manicure.

Afterwards I went to Great Harvest and picked up a fresh made loaf of Whole Grain Rustic bread.

On a side note, I know this is kind of gross, but this is the bruise that has formed on my leg after running into the corner of a table at work! Yes, I live in Alaska, and no, I have not seen the sun in five years.

My butt is still glued to the couch watching another movie: He’s Just Not That Into You. I had better get better because this is really hard for me to sit down all day long!
